Surfboard foam (Polyurethane - PU) is recycled by reshaping it into a new hand plane blank. The foam blank is then glassed using the exact same processes as your favourite surfboard. A stringer, 4oZ fiberglass and polyester resin are used for maximum durability. We only recycle surfboard foam that is in good condition to ensure a premium quality bodysurfing hand plane product.
