I will only keep this as a back-up in my hand plan quiver as it's a bit thin [esp on rails] and doesn't really perform as well as my others. Also I don't love where my thumb sits all the way across inside rail.

Bought for my 10 year old son as a Christmas present he loves it. Adds a new element to being in the ocean for him. They are great.

Great little accessory for the surfing quiver. Small, lightweight and easy to just throw in the car for when the waves aren’t good enough for the surfboard. And I love that they are made from recycled plastic. 👍🏻

First time hand-plane user. So far so good, the ecto hand plane is easy to use, the hand strap fits snuggly and so far it's made body surfing way more fun.
Bought my teenage kids a hand plane for Xmas, told them how much fun it is and how much h more wave you can body surf. They all loved them, been out nearly everyday since. Can't wait for a thumping storey to rip into!

Buy the wrist leash / tether for the hand-planes and use them as fin leash / tether instead.

Purchased with the Moon Rider, but using as a fin tether ... the actual fin tethers are far less convenient and far less comfortable than these. If you're considering purchasing fin leash / tethers and happen across this review, buy these instead.
I personally use the fin tethers / leashes that I purchaed as hand plane tethers and vice-versa.
I wish that I had oruchased another one of these but at the cost of shipping, I'll wait until I need something else.
