Be one of 60 bodysurfers to take over the URBNSURF wave pool in Melbourne in a 4hr bodysurfing barrel-fest like never before! It's ALWAYS pumpin' at the pool so be prepared to get pitted beyond recognition as we program the waves for perfect barrels on BOTH sides and set up portable speakers for bangin' beats. It's an expression session where all you need to do is be yourself and bring your most faithful body sliding craft!

3-4pm  —  Check in at URBNSURF*
4-5pm  —  Food, Meet up, Wetties On 

5-6pm  —  Best bodysurfing barrels for the conditions (including 'The Beast')
6-7pm  —  Intermediate mode perfect for alternative sliding craft eg, paipos (or go in for a break and get hydrated!)
7-8pm  —  Best bodysurfing barrels for the conditions (including 'The Beast')
8-9pm  —  Best bodysurfing barrels for the conditions (including 'The Beast')

Epic Wave Programming
The 'Ecto Pool Party' is a group booking so we will be working with URBNSURF on the night to adjust the waves to barrel for the entire session - this is different to a regular 'Advanced' point booking as the wave is set for the general public. The waves will be adjusted to suit the best barrels possible depending on the wind (yeahhh, this includes 'The Beast'). We've chosen May (Autumn) as NW winds can be more prevalent in VIC meaning we'll have more chance it's gonna be offshore.

Wave Count
Everyone can be in the water at any given time with approx 30 people per side. Each hour, on each side, there are 18 sets with 10-12 waves that's around 180-216 barreling waves each side... will you get 'enough' waves? Indeed, you will be so pitted beyond recognition your wallet will be leaving with a grommet grade smile. (4hrs of normal sessions would be $316 ($79 per hr) 

Pumping Music
We'll have speakers pumping at both the left & the right take off zones to ensure the froth is high and the stoke is real. If you have a song request please add it in the notes section when you check out and we'll add it to the 'Pool Party Bangerz 2020' playlist.

Surf Photography
A suite of talented surf photographers will bring their best lens game onsite to ensure epic waves don't go uncaptured from land and water. Content also sorted by the in-house SurfChimp team.

Ecto Demos
We'll have our whole range available to test run. Note all forms of handplanes are welcome - but not compulsory! Guru free-handers are encouraged to shred with bells on. 

Lawn Area & Facilities
We've got the lawn area all to ourselves to view the action and lay down gear. Within metres are hot-tubs and hot showers in case there is a Victorian Bitter Chill on the night. (VBC)

Food
Quality food and drink will be available for purchase in the afternoon and on the night but we recommend eating beforehand so your pool pit time is maxed.

Friends & Spectators
If your family and friends wanna come along to see you get barrelled, no probs - Spectator passes can be purchased at the door for $5.

Gear & Weather
It's Vicco, be prepared with a 4/3 or channel your stiff inner bodysurfer spirit in budgy's. There are hot tubs and hot showers on-site but be prepared with a beanie incase of arctic breezes.

Waivers
A few days before the event you'll be contacted to fill out the URBNSURF waiver form. The bottom is concrete and there is an element of danger like bodysurfing any decent wave so read up.

 Getting There
URBNSURF Melbourne is located at 309 Melrose Drive, Tullamarine VIC 3043, just minutes from Melbourne Airport terminals with ample parking onsite making for an easy fly-in, fly-out set up.

Accomodation
Ciloms Airport Lodge is an affordable option literally across the road from URBNSURF. They offer a free shuttle bus to & from the airport.
